The QUBIC Collaboration welcomes Haochen Jiang and Noah Orazi, new members in the French group.
Haochen Jiang is a first year Masters student at Sorbonne University in Fundamental Physics. He’s originally from Tsing Tao in China. He did his Bachelor’s at Université Paris Cité and he will complete his Masters diploma this summer for the M1 Masters and go on next year with the M2, also at Sorbonne University, in the program of “Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Space Engineering”. He hopes to continue with a PhD after that. For his internship, he is working on QUBIC map making simulations, and in particular Haochen has made an important contribution in debugging the high frequency simulations for QUBIC.
Noah Orazi is master’s student in theoretical physics at Université Paris Cité and ENS Paris, focusing on cosmology and data analysis. He is currently doing an internship at the APC laboratory, working on reducing instrumental noise for the QUBIC telescope project. Outside his studies, he enjoy trail running, hiking, and playing the guitar.
