Agathe Simon’s exhibition Ex Nihilo presents the visions of three women on creation: an artist, a cosmologist, and a llama breeder. It unfolds around an immersive video installation that connects two contrasting territories: the hedged farmland of the Orne region and the Andean highlands. During her residency at L’esTRAde, Agathe Simon developed new pieces that revolve around this multi-screen installation. Inspired by the Athis-de-l’Orne region, she explores, through her philagnostic method, a dual approach to creation: the origins of the universe and the artistic process.
