Jean-Christophe Hamilton was named to be the new director of APC (Astroparticles and Cosmology) Laboratory located at Université Paris-Diderot. With this new responsibility,
he hands over his duties as Spokesperson of QUBIC to Michel Piat, who was unanimously voted in for this position by the QUBIC Collaboration Board.

Jean-Christophe keeps the collaboration motivated, he has brought significant funding to the project, and he is a major contributor to development efforts for data analysis, simulations, and
also for running the instrument and he has been the Principle Investigator/Spokesperson for QUBIC since the creation of the collaboration in 2008 which brought together the BRAIN and MBI collaborations. In his future role as director of APC, he will continue to support and promote QUBIC.
